I've been saying that for YEARS!!!

There are issues with Darwin x86, though:

* IDE drives may not work on x86. Try it, if it doesn't work, it's a
known problem.* SCSI CD-ROM drives are not supported
* Only the PIIX4 IDE controllers have been found to work.

The list goes on. Also, AMD cpus and chipsets are not supported.

It was nice of apple to release it. Perhaps we'll start seeing third
party releases with decent hardware support.
