Who has the lowest TCO (total cost of ownership), Linux or Windows?
Microsoft claims they do of course, but they don't factor in some real
world factors that are commonly overlooked.

The main point of the article is about the time lost with with MS's
buggy registration procedure. But they also make a good point on the
time it takes MS users to track licenses so they stay in "compliance"
and they don't get audited and/or fined by the BSA.

  Good article: http://www.osopinion.com/perl/story/21392.html

They forgot to mention time lost on MS systems from problems caused by
viruses and money wasted on anti-virus software, but TCO really isn't
the main focus of this article ... (it's just my favorite part) :-)
