[KLUG Members] Ethernet suggestion

This is also what i bought today.  I am still having some troubles though, but i
dont think it is my laptop.  In windows (and linux), unable to share an internet
connection or even file sharing.  With my w2k box, i name my workgroup, computer
name, ect ect.. and when i try to connect to the other computer, all that i can see
on my network is my laptop.   I am unable to see my PC (which is a HP Pavilion
6740C).  So i am able to copy files from my PC to my laptop, but not the other way
around (since my PC isnt listed)  My thoughts are that this is because of my HP, and
maybe something is wrong with that.  And in linux, i cannot get on the internet or
use SAMBA to connect to the HP, it says unknown host.  URG.
