Having used Evolution for several months now, I told Red Carpet to
upgrade my box to the new and first Beta release last night before I
retired for the evening (maintaining a Linux box is ssooooo hard). If
your a Ximian GNOME users, this mail client may be what your looking for
as in this Beta everything seems to work, and it is quite a bit faster
than the alpha snapshots (I'd say 50-75% easy).

Evolution supports also every mail protocol (being based on the CAMEL
components) includeing IMAP, POP, S/IMAP. etc... Support for PGP and
HTML messages, LDAP, vCard, iCal, and vCal. Yep, that means it can put
scheduleing events from Outlook right onto the integrated calender
applications, and vice versa. The "My Evoltion" function gives you a
summary of your calendar, task list, inbox, and a variety of web sites
of you choice. And it all syncs with the Palm Pilot.
