Hey Adam...
I've been using Ameritech's DSL since February. It's pretty reliable but every
now and again gets funky.
I use Roaring Penguin's PPPoE client and it works great. Get the self-install
kit if you can and an external modem and you should be OK. When I got it the
install kit and modem were free (with rebate).
