A C program for use in the make script, yes. ldap2nis
http://ldapconsole.sourceforge.net

Actually several people have made solutions to this problem, I was far from the
first. Some of the other people want $1,200 a machine for their script, I
thought "phooey on that". Although their solution is better on several
technical points.

Wow, so I'm infamous enough to come up at other LUG meetings? Now I can finally
justify my huge ego to my wifal unit. :)
