Hmm, I was just reading on kernel cousin (3-4 mos. ago) that the Adaptec rep
who was writing the BSD drivers would be dual-licensing his BSD software for
Linux, as well. (The previous maintainer had to quit for personal reasons).
I wonder if their drivers will improve any?
