Bruce, many thanks again for your vital contribution to our
keeping up with rapidly changing world of LINUX.

I hope to be at next Tuesday's meeting and would like to get a
copy of the 20CD latest BSware (RH 7.2) and the RH 7.2 documentation CD.

By the way I am just getting into a simulation language, Simile, developed
at the University of Edinborough, available to non-commercial users at no
charge for BOTH MS windows and LINUX. I have both implementations up and
running and am in touch with the developers about how to use it.

If any of you remember the "Limits to Growth" study in the 70's, the
modelling technique used there and subsequently in widely diverse settings
are called System Dynamics which is the basic method of Simile. I've been
looking for a free LINUX System Dynamics modelling tool for some
ecological/land use purposes and Simile is right on.

If anyone is interested in this object-oriented GUI tool, let me know &
I'll send details. It would be a wonderful tool in the classroom.
By the way, my enthusiasm arises partly from my being a coauthor of a text
on the technique.

	Best, Ralph deal@kzoo.edu
