I upgraded to Ximian Gnome, and "gnome-vfs-extras" is not a Ximian
package as far as I can find. So, I installed it from Redhat 7.2.
Now, "smb:" works, as long as you go out to lunch between every click.
It literally takes many minutes to scan the network.
Is it because I need an Ximian version of "gnome-vfs-extras"?
(if so, where can I download it?)
Or maybe because I'm browsing a private class "B" network, and it's
scanning for all 65,535 possible nodes on my network?
Or is it always this slow? (I never tried it before)
