I downloaded the evaluation version of VMware.  I have installed it and
an now about to install a guest OS.

My question is during the install of a guest OS the wizard allows me to
choose to "create a standard virtual machine" or "install VMware Guest
OS Kit".  The description says use the latter choice to create a new
virtual machine with a preinstalled OS.

I have a dual boot machine - win2k and linux.  If I use the OS Kit will
I be able to boot the win2k partition that I normally have to reboot
into?  Do you have any experience with data loss?
