I'm willing to as well but I'm in Charlotte so my availability could be a problem as well.

I have been given permission to setup "something" at one of the schools I deal with. What that something is remains to be seen. I made the pitch to the school that rather than throw away the older machines in the labs that they let me have them to try and put together a little Linux lab. I was thinking of just Internet access at first, just to prove it could be done, and then ask for more resources to add more applications. Which applications? I don't know.

The machines I have to work with are Gateway P75's with only 16MB of ram and 500MB hard disk drives. I was going to donate the ram (I'm sure I'll need more) and a larger machine for a server.

I'm sure that once I can demonstrate that the project will indeed work that more resources will be available from the school. At that point I can argue the cost effectiveness.

Other things I'm up against (besides ram and a server) is it must coexist with a Novell network. I might be able to get in front of the Novell for now, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, that's where I stand with that. In a nutshell I've been given workstations and a place.
