Welcome to Dszqsfe Qforvjo month where we'll be cover crypto-graphic and
related security topics as they pertain to Open Source systems.

July 10: Bruce Smith discussing Crypted File Systems, enabling you to
make your data truly secure, and forgetting that password truly
painful.

July 17: The program director himself presenting on Kerberos V, the
ultimate in single-sign on security. If it's good enough for the
underworld, it is plenty good for your PC.

July 24: Richard Zimmerman demonstrating SSH, the secure shell and file
transfer utility. But thats not all it can do, discover all the tricks
made possible by the swiss army knife of secure remote access.

July 31: Mr. Pruden explains Public Key Cryptographic techniques such as
PGP, and how something that is public can make something private. And
you thought only corporate lawyers could dream up something like that!

Thanks to all the speakers that volunteered this month to present on
such fascinating topics. And August looks to be just as interesting:
NNTPCache, Mozilla, and GDB.

We are currently looking to fill September, our "Web Development" month.
If you'd like to show off your stunning programming prowess on any web
related topic (PHP, CGI, .NET, SOAP, PERL, Apache Modules, etc...) let
me know: programdirector@kalamazoolinux.org

P.S. Of course, topic suggestions, comments about meetings, etc.. are
always welcome too.

P.P.S. A recent survey indicated a strong intrest in Multimedia/Video
editing tools for Linux, so if your an AV guy we'd love to have you
stop by.
