Yes.  I'd rather have everything on it's own controller, but I don't have
much choice.  It's only a problem when doing a CD to CD copy (since I don't
use my read-only CD-rom drive for much else).  Even with that setup, I can
still copy from CD to CD at 8-10X.  A little faster with burn-proof on.
