Do you need a GUI?  I mean to say are you visually looking for the
copy/paste/trim points or are they preset?  I have used sox in combination with
tools such as the AFAudio stuffs or even a simple dd to handle live/scripted
creation of real audio feeds or snippets and other similar tasks.
