Hi Kevin,

I've been converting some tapes I have to CD's.

I've been using 'gramofile', written by some debian linux guru's, to
capture pairs of 30 minuite .wav files. It can do some noise filtering
if you want it to.

I then use Xcdrdao (may be part of the debian cdrdao package, newer
versions are called gcdmaster) to imput track breaks for my cd's and
delete unwanted intro/exits. Version 1.1.4-1 .rpms are linked here.

I'll admit I've also converted some old disco records.
