It was about the same way for my install too! :)  Althought i used partition
magic to shrink the size of my WinME partition, everything else was the
same.  I think my network card has seen its last days though.  But all in
all, everything set up very very very very nicely right out of the box.  And
this is a brand new computer too..  I just bought this from Gateway no more
than a week ago, and an old version of Red Hat 7.1 installed on it with no
problems!  I was very impressed!
