Has anyone ever bought a refurbished mainboard from NewEgg? They
got some deals over there that save a good 33-40% over new.

Which is one of the best KT133A mainboards according to
AnandTech.com.

The combination of 266MHz FSB with PC133 memory is as good as DDR
SDRAM in many cases.

And Athlon just rules over Intel these days, especially the FPU.
Has anyone seen if GCC can optimize for Athlon yet (I've seen the
kernel, but that's different)? The latest "C" Athlons are upto 50%
faster at FPU, MHz or MHz, with Athlon FPU-optimized/scheduled code.

Still recommend nVidia for 3-D performance and 3-D performance over
dual-head.
