This one gets universally pretty high reviews,  but I personally don't really
use PJ software.

If you surf over the freshmeat.net and search on "project management" it comes
up with piles of entries,  many of these are software development specific but
there are quite a few general-purpose and web based ones as well.

http://www.phprojekt.com/ seems to be the dominant web (platform independent)
tool.

I gave up on Win32 share/free-ware quite a while ago, in general it stinks, your
better off just sending Mr. Bill a pile of your bills and using his *blessed*
package.
