In this presentation, Glenn will walk us through a compelling busines
case for Open Source development in general, Linux in particular, and
preferred architectures, to be specific. We'll go over why why Linux has
the characteristics desired for developing desktop applications, and
then detail why thin clients will become more common as the software and
other aspects of the environment evolve. This presentation is rounded
out by case studies developed in a law office and manufacturing company,
showing how all of these technologies are deployed effectively.
