Greetings. I'm moving a C program from a redhat box (7? 6.1?) to a
turbolinux box, and the turbolinux box doesn't have all the same "shared object
libraries" that the redhat box does. My question: What changes do I make in the
code for it not to want the stupid libraries? For some odd reason, adding
the new libraries is out of the question (not MY choice) so I'm stuck with
this. I've never written a C or C++ program that has required shared object
libraries before (apart from including header files, but that's different). It
compiles fine, but when it runs, it barks about it. Maybe my head is up my
patoot with this issue, but, I'm not too familiar with Redhat and shared object
libraries like this. Any ideas?
