First you need to make sure the button is sending a unique event.
On a wheel mouse, the buttons are 1, 2 & 3, and the wheel sends
button 4 & 5 depending on which way the wheel is turned.

Your extra button must send something else. Run "xev" and find
out what it's sending. You may need to modify your XF86Config to
allow more buttons.

After you find out what it's sending, you can modify the resource
file (app-defaults) file in Netscape to make that event do whatever
you want it to. See my resource file in the tech section of the
KLUG site and compare it to a stock one to get you going. I don't
know about browsers other than Netscape (and you didn't specify).
