No, I think you still need to fix your MBR.  The /boot partition contains the 
information to boot into linux and etc, but the MBR is what gives you the 
option to choose between booting from /boot (linux) or booting into win2k.  If 
you don't want this, and instead want only win2k, I refer you to my previous 
message, in which I said:

"Well, I believe you can boot from the win2k installation disks and go into 
Recovery Console, and then use the FIXBOOT or FIXMBR command to fix your 
mbr."

This is assuming that you have win2k installation disks :)
