Don't forget "general" ventilation.  My system sits in a corner,  and
the signal biggest reduction in temp was gained by pointing a $19 box
fax in it's general direction.  If yours in under a desk, etc... it
might be work mounting a windshield fan somewhere nearby to make sure it
isn't just circulating the same hot air over and over.
