  I don't use Procmail so I can't say, but are you using an email virus
scanner on the server? www.amavis.org by chance? If so, I can send you a patch
I developed and use on my email server to backup emails. Basically, I make a
copy of the message BEFORE it's passed through the virus scanner then I backup
it up into a .tar file every evening via a batch job.
