[KLUG Members] printing question

I am running Red Hat Linux 7.0.  I am using an old HP Deskjet Plus
printer.

If I use the command lpr to print a text file everything works well.
However, if I try to print something off an internet site I just get
single lines of very strange characters, one page after another. I am
using Netscape as my internet software.  Can someone help me understand
why my printer failing when I try to print from the internet but it
works with lpr and a text file.

Also, printing from an internet site when running Windows 95 works fine
when using this printer.
