It does support ldap, but I am unsure what services are linked to it. I know that I can point my email client to the directory on this box and it works, as well as in the webmail service that runs on the box.

Does e-smith support LDAP?

Are the services, like sendmail, linked to libldap? Does it include
pam_ldap,so? Does it have any kind of authconfig utility like RedHat?
