[KLUG Members] Email compatibility?

Exchange does do "standard" SMTP. So as long as the voice mail app is
using the SMTP port to connect to the mail server instead of an RPC call
it should work. Our voice mail specifies the use of Exchange, which we
do not use, but since the email is sent out over SMTP we can use the
email server of our choice. So I think the question is does that voice
mail app want to do any RPC calls to Exchange or does is just send SMTP
traffic? Though we do have to use MS Outlook to access some of the
features on the voice mail system.
