Sorry, but I'm not going to recompile KDE for this project. 

No time, no desire, do not want the nightmare of keeping it 
up to date when new releases come out . . . .

I found something on kde.org a long time ago saying that this was NOT an
option in KDE.  If you find it's changed since then, please let me know.
