I buy RAM from crucial.com because their website rocks... if you
know your motherboard make and model, the website tells you
everything you need. For people like me who can't keep up with the
monthly advances in RAM technology buzzwords, it's a big help.

The "CL" in CL2 and CL3 is CAS Latency... CL2 is faster but it may
or may not make a difference. Last time I bought RAM, it was hard
to find the larger-capacity sticks with the faster latency, but who
knows, that may have changed by now.

I happen to work for VA. We don't make hardware anymore, but if you
don't know your motherboard make and model, email me privately with
the exact model number(s) of your box(es) and I'll see if I can't
find that out for you.
