I'd go to the local bargain books and just pick up a few, they usually
have a selection. IMHO, Samba books are all the same, pretty lousy. And
there is no point in spending >$30 on a book that may very well be *WAY*
out of date in the near future, with the release of Samba 3.0.
If you have a basic understanding of Windows networking (DOMAINS,
Workgroups, browse lists, oplocks, etc...) then Samba should be pretty
easy. The Windows side (which is amazingly complicated and bizarre) is
where most people get in trouble.
