>>>KLUG is always seeking speakers and presenters.

Right, this is entirley up to the speaker. The typical KLUG audience is very
diverse.
>>I'm also wondering what kind of format you're
>>expecting for a "bind and djbdns" talk -- are people looking more for

Feature comparisons, HOWTO, etc... all are reasonable. Since the audience is
diverse it is ideal to try and include a little for each type of person - new
user, admin, etc... But it is entirly up to you.
>>Comments welcome...

True.
I think you'll find that ~45 minutes is pretty easy to fill. People ask
questions too.
>I think a lot of people who attend KLUG meetings use bind but may

Same here. I've never used anything other than bind; but not out of any type
of devotion, it is just what was there and it worked. Info on alternatives
seems a little scarce.
And there are side benefits to preseting. Make a nice presention or write up
and KLUG will host it. This makes you very google-able. According to personal
experience and articles like
http://www.theopenenterprise.com/story/TOE20021202S0001 this can have a very
positive impact on your employability. And we submit links to our hosted
presentations to several large web-sites (linux.com, etc...)
