[KLUG Members] Remote Evolution?

I'm trying to give my HPUX users access to the great email client
"evolution" by letting them run it remotely on a Redhat 8.0 server.

It starts fine on HPUX (CDE desktop), but I have two problems:

It leaves behind processes after the user exits evolution, which I
believe are going to cause problems later. I've tried starting
evolution with the "--sm-disable" (session manager disable) and
"--oaf-private" (don't register with OAF) options but I still get left
over processes, like these:

 oafd --ac-activate --ior-output-fd=9
 bonobo-moniker-xmldb --oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:Bonobo_Moniker_xmldb_...
 evolution-alarm-notify --oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Cal...
 wombat --oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:Bonobo_Moniker_wombat_Factory --oaf...
 /usr/bin/gconfd-1 28

The second problem is users can't change their font size. I tried
running the Gnome Control center remotely on HPUX and increasing the
font there, but it doesn't seem to effect evolution at all.

Any words of wisdom?
