I am pleased to report that I now have ucb LOGO working in RH7.3.
The problem in compilation before was that the compiler didn't look
in the right directory for the termcap library. A simple symbolic
link where the compiler expected to find the library led to joy.
I got to that fix from suggestions by the manager of that version of
LOGO, Brian Harvey, at U.Cal.Berkeley, Computer Science. Ain't the web
great!
If anyone is interested, I'll happily work with you in getting LOGO to
work for you, especially if you are in a school system and want to take
advantage of the learning possibilities of LOGO (remember "Mindstorms"
by Seymour Papaert, MIT?)
Relearning LOGO in this neat package, Ralph
