>>>Wait wait wait.. this whole time I heard you talk about LOGO I thought
>>>it was that little triangle "turtle" on an old Apple II. I figured
>>>you were going through an awful lot of work for an outdated piece of software.
>>You have it BUT it is not outdated except in the sense that it failed to
>>realize its potential as THE best learning environment for kids on the
>>computer starting with kindergarten. A bit ambitious. It is still a
>>powerful learning tool and has plenty of challenges for us olders.
>>The UCB version has an OOP extension and an extensive set of options to
>>make LOGO as complex as you want.
>Sounds like presentation material!!!

>(yeah, I know, no opening tag ... :)
Yes, if we have presentations on APL, why not LOGO? :) Seriously though,
I've seen some pretty cool stuff done with LOGO and this would be a good
topic.
I work with US First, a national robotics competition, and the lower
levels uses LEGO & LOGO. So there is a huge crop of geek sprouts very
proficient in LOGO.
