Last I knew Jon Johansen (sp?) the original DeCSS author went on trial just a couple of days ago.  Even if he isn't found guilty of any criminal charges it scares the bejeebees out of me that the DMCA was used to haul a 16 year old boy out of his native land for prosecution -- because of a few hundred lines of C source code.
