I am pleased to announce the start of a new web-based BBS, expressly for
the sale of hardware among individuals in Western Michigan and Northern
Indiana.

Really, I'm not going to monitor where you come from too carefully. The
idea behind this BBS is that it will serve as a place where people can
post notices about the sale of their hardware, listing details, price
and contact information, and readers can contact them, by whatever means,
and execute their transactions.

This system is very simple to use; there is no login required for any
user. Simply go to:

		http://bbs.whizdomsoft.com

And click on topics to see each series of messages. Hopefully, there
will not BE many messages in each topic, unless a seller strings a lot
of items together. If you want to post a new list, click on CREATE TOPIC,
enter your message, and submit it. If you want to read, click on each
topic heading, and read the messages. Simple.

There is no charge for this service. None. It's not just free, but
really free. There are no hidden charges, meters that go off when you
post or read more than a few messages, nothing to pay me if you find
the deal of a lifetime (I won't turn down donations, but I don't
REQUIRE anything :), no memberships, no credit card numbers, passwords,
or anything, no funny javascript angels that come down from the top of
window and beg you for money, none of those.... well, you get the picture.
It's really and truly free of charge.

HOWEVER, there is a catch! I'm running this as something of an experiment,
and the experimental period will end at the end of March, 2004. Sometime
during March I will make a determination about continuing the service....
and if so, under what terms. I will announce my decision on the BBS
itself.

If you have any questions about this service, please send it to me via
private e-mail. The service is there NOW, with a kickoff message from
me regarding overall guidelines. Please read and post away!

Happy Commerce, everyone!!
