   You compile djbdns simply because the source code is a lot smaller to
download and you can customize it to a specific system. It really isn't that
difficult to compile and install.  I will warn you that you *DO* need to
READ the instructions. If you are like me and make assumptions about
installing programs, djbdns will not work!

 BTW, did I mention it's reliability? One word, FAST, STABLE - AWESOME! <G>
