Set "debug level = 10" and restart samba.  Look in the log.  This is how
*ALL* samba problems are solved.    You'll almost certainly find it
grumbling about something quite specific.

Also do a "netstat -apn" to see what is listening where.

Use ipchains and iptables to make sure you don't have any firewall rules
defined.  One annoying thing about current installs is they let people
setup a firewall (high, medium, low) which they promptly forget they
did.  Almost all the above crunch 137/139.
