Do you see anything in /var/log/maillog? If anything is even attempting to send
it should show up there. sendmail may very well be chucking the message for
some (valid) reason.

Never had one get stuck in sendmail either. Except when I shut the server
down, which is kind of funny. Start it up 18 months later and it starts
delivering mail from its queue..... some very confused people.....
