I am running IPCOP as my firewall. It is a standalone
firewall that is based on a linux kernel. If you have
a cd burner it is really easy to get it. Just
download the iso image (about 20 meg - it is a small
one) and burn a cd. You can then boot to the cd and
install. The install is fairly straight forward. It
will work with cable modem, dsl, regular modem, and
isdn. I have it hooked to my cable modem. It seems
quite secure so far (way more than the M$ Winblows
solution I used to run). It should run more than
adequate on your 200Mhz machine!
The web site is www.ipcop.org and has much good info.
