I just setup smoothwall this last weekend after many
weeks of frustration trying to learn iptables.  I had
smoothwall installed and running in about 15
minutes!!!

I have it on a major sized box right now (600Mhz
Pentium) but plan on moving it as soon as I can get
hold of a tiny little box.

Web interface is nice.  Documentation is not bad
although there are a few minor holes in it.

I am still going to learn iptables if for no other
reason than stuborness but it does not seem to be
clicking.   Funny, I can do Cisco access lists all day
long without a problem but iptables is just biting me
in the butt big time!!!
