>It would give congress the right to charge ISP 5 cents per email deliverd
>I just got a email and was wondering if this was true.
1. This has been a long running hoax. It wasn't true last time I
checked. Of course, Congress could change that fact at any time.
2. This would be utterly and hopelessly unenforcable. I don't use an ISP
in any phase of processing my e-mail, and niether do most larger
organizations.
3, They could only enforce this by having direct access to every SMTP in
the US. They can have direct access to my SMTP server **OVER MY DEAD
BODY**. I'm not really exaggerating, and I think *ALOT* of people feel
the same way.
