KLUG is seeking to fill the three March presentations before the end of
January.

At least a few people who attend either the OST's Linux series
(presented by KLUG) or the IBM presentation will likely check out our
website. It is important that we do not miss this opportunity to expand
the group by having a selection of topics posted. People who check and
find nothing may never check again.

The following dates are available:
The 12th, 19th, and 26th.

If you have already spoken on a topic in the past you are welcome to
repeat that topic.

Topics requested in 2000/2001 but not yet presented
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Transitioning Windows users to Linux
Corporate Linux Promotion Techniques
SAMBA, Integrating Win32 and LINUX/UNIX
Running a web site / Managing a web server
Accounting packages for Linux
USB and Linux
What is .NET/SOAP/XML-RPC
SSL
PHP Programming
CORBA
Video / Multimedia with Linux
GIMP / Graphics packages for Linux
Automating Desktop Tasks (Macros)

Remember that while we exclude "commercial" traffic from the list we do
NOT exclude commercial speakers (witness Glen Jacobsen from Unique
systems). Developers or those who support commercial packages are very
much welcome if they are willing to generalize a bit and not solely
pitch their project/package. If you discuss software issues, etc...
with a vendor that supports Linux please extend the invitation to speak
at KLUG. Just supply them with the programdirector@kalamazoolinux.org
e-mail address.
