[KLUG Members] Font display garbled

When viewing webpages, the fonts look pixelated. (fonts referenced like
Arial).  Does this need to be a TTF?  Images and text that has been
saved as an image looks fine, like in logos and other graphics.  Not a
big deal, just doesn't read very well.

Also, what are the options to readjust the screen resolution (I want to
set it to 1400x...) without editing the text x config file.

PS.  Project is still moving forward for Linux network at the school,
but we don't have a green light just yet...
