MICROSOFT DECLINES TO USE OWN SECURITY PRODUCT | News: IDG
A lab at Microsoft is using a competitor's product to protect against
worms and other threats. Microsoft's SQL Labs uses NetScreen
Technologies' 500 series security appliance even though the company
sells a competing product, Microsoft Internet Security and
Acceleration Server.

A quick google shows that this device they use runs Netscreen "ScreenOS". Many times, it seems like vendors use a stripped down Linux for devices like this. Does anyone know if "ScreenOS" a Linux derived OS?
