If Win95 doesn't encrypt passwords for network sharing and Win98 -does- encrypt passwords for network sharing can they both interact with the same Samba server? Is there a configuration in Samba to handle both? Or do Win95 machines need to somehow be updated to use encryption or should the Win98 machines be modified to not use encryption (which sounds less secure)? kind regards, bill
