Well, first off, the MJPEGTools do a lot with regards to
capture/editing!

Then there are a number of GUI programs that use them.  Nothing like
Broadcast 2000, but they're not bad.  BTW, I have a copy of SuSE 7.3
that has Broadcast 2000 in it.  Look around, you might be able to find a
copy.
