I have to agree.  Giant corporations that are already household names, 
particularly those with questionable practices, don't need any help from 
underground 501c3's like us.  I'd much rather see an agreement of some sort 
with a small local business (don't know of any off the top of my head, but 
somebody here's got to know a Value Added Reseller who knows Linux) than a 
giant corporation.  

Would this raise unpleasant questions about KLUG's nonprofit status, 
though?  Would there be allegations that KLUG is an undercover marketing 
arm for this mythical VAR if we endorse them, or just if they provided KLUG 
a "demo machine" of some kind.  Somebody wiser than me had better be able 
to navigate that legal minefield.
