Wal-Mart has what I think is a new addition:  they have a new
low-end model at $299.  (I believe the previous lowest priced
model was $399.)

Microtel SYSMAR701 PC With 850 MHz Duron
128 MB memory
10 GB hard drive
CD-ROM drive
Ethernet connection
56 Kbps modem
LindowsOS operating system (pre-installed)
Monitor and floppy disk drive are not included

Just to keep everyone's feet planted in reality -- just over five
years ago, I started working with a company whose primary web
service was delivered, for over a year, from a server whose specs
didn't even come close to this.  Not even *close*.
