I just (finally) put evolution on my laptop. Very cool! Actually, it
looks just like <dodge tomatoes>MS Outlook</dodge>. Another note..

I was having a problem on a new server (trying to install eSmith). It
is a new dell Poweredge (I like these even though this one had a slot
cover jingling around in it when it arrived.)

Anyway, I install the CD to boot. See the license agreement, type agree
and then kernel boots. Kernel quickly kicks out Kernel Panic VFS...Oh
no! I try booting a minimal image from floppy to no avail. No matter
what this won't start right. Anyway, on trying this install around the
7th time, I acknowledged the fact the the licensing screen looks like
the intro anaconda for RedHat. (you know, where you choose expert..)

Anyway, I thought, I bet I can pass kernel parameters through this line.
So, instead of just typing "accept", I typed "accept mem=512M". And
BOOM! it booted all the way into the install scripts.

We learn 2 things here: 1) kernel panics are not the end of life 2)
banging head against wall really does help.
